KRIS KROSS 'Jump' singer dies at the age of 34

Although you may not know them individually by name,if you where born in the 90's then you will definitely be familiar with this dynamic duo whom stormed the scene with their catchy hit single 'jump'. Earlier this year the pair reunited to perform for the 20th anniversary of the Def Jam label however,It was announced under  24 hours ago that Chris Kelly (the one in the stone wash denim) had died yesterday at 5pm at just 34 years of age. Although the cause of death is still unknown their are speculations that it was due to a possible drug overdose....I mean wait till the autopsy before making judgement. Instead of delving into the cause of death let's reminisce about the good old 90's by recapping on the song that made them famous...lets enjoy nostalgia at its best...R.I.P Chris Kelly

Three Floor

In the midst of a hectic treasure hunt for the perfect dress during the early days of March 2013, I cross paths with a brand labelled 'Three Floor' via Asos. Despite the fact that an item was not purchased, the name and the cutting edge designer esque garments failed to escape me. Fast forward almost two months and the brand has grown even further and their designs are as alluring as ever. If you haven't heard or seen of 'Three Floor' before then today is your lucky day...maybe not for your bank balance though Go on have a look here, It'll be rude not to. Alternatively,  for the sensible few out there allow me to play Devil's advocate and tempt you with a few of my favourites from this seasons collection.

Label lust...

SS13 Versace caged stiletto heels

Caged up to the Gods. 

In my opinion this is a more daring and over the top alternative to  Alexander Wang's minimalistic caged sandal..and I'm loving it; I mean can a shoe get any sexier? If I sit here lusting after this as much as I'd want to I'd be late for work which  involves lusting after shoes also...oh the irony

It may not be the best of views but I have found myself a more permanent place to take pictures for the blog.  Speaking of permanent, earlier today I went for lunch with my friend after uni and we were reflecting on how drastically things had changed in my personal life in the space of one year. It is eye opening how you can go from one extreme to another. It's almost as if it is life's way of telling you that nothing lasts forever.Some of you may or may not know that last year I was studying something completely different to what I am now. When I had left my course I thought my world was over however, now that I look back I am grateful for the circumstance I found myself in as I'd probably not be studying what I enjoy now. I guess what I am trying to say is if things are going bad for you do not dwell on it as it could be a blessing in disguise, you may not realise it then but when you look back, like me, you just might find yourself happier than you ever anticipated....sometimes you have to endure the struggle to really appreciate the good times. I didn't really plan on getting all deep on you all...it kinda sort of just happened? I'm obsessed with...

Orange accents

After sporting my monochrome T-shirt dress that featured a pop of colour, I have suddenly found myself drawn to anything with a neon contrast. As the title suggest, I am especially obsessing over orange accents and these are a few gems that I found whilst procrastinating on Asos. The dress is my favourite item and it seems to be everyone else's as it sold out in my size immediately after I popped it into my basket. I am currently waiting for it to get back in stock however, just in case it does not, I have found a substitute in the skirt form.I absolutely love the print so I'll just have to take what I get right? Lastly I am loving this heavily embellished top, the cut out detailing on the back is the reason I loathe being 'blessed' in the chest department however, I shan't let that minute factor hold me back... This upside down cut out triangle makes this top that much more sexy in my opinion; Now all I have to do is find a way to overcome this obstacle   possibly using a bandeau to cover up the under garment? or maybe I'll hunt down a bra wit a clear strap who knows? Watch this space.
